IBEW Local Union 430 stands ready to assist all unrepresented electrical workers in Racine County attain wages and benefits that are second to none. Our goal is to partner with every electrical contractor and their employees in order to promote our industry and to provide a stable and secure future for all of us. We will be happy to meet with employee groups, employers, or both to discuss the benefits and advantages of becoming a union member and a union employer.

IBEW Local Union 430 is always looking for skilled electricians to meet the needs of our affiliated contractors. If you have not been in the trade long enough to acquire the skills of a Journeyman Wireman, we strongly recommend you apply for an Apprenticeship. There is no better way to become a well rounded electrician.

IBEW Local Union 430 offers the Journeyman Wireman test in January, April, and October for those with five years of verified electrical work experience.
